    WOOD is currently hiring an Operations Research Systems Analyst to join our compliance group in the Ft. Meade, MD area.  In this role you will be executing the process by which new technology and service requirements are submitted for evaluation and prioritization by compliance.  

    Responsibilities

    • The Operations Research Systems Analyst will support the customer in managing data governance activities and will be responsible for supporting and improving the quality and management of the protections for sensitive data and information assets
    • The Operations Research Systems Analyst shall administer the new requirement submission portal, provide initial triage review of new submissions, work with the Requirements Manager to assign reviewers, and coordinate the prioritizing of process with Compliance Group leadership
    • The ORSA shall interface and coordinate with various organizations throughout the enterprise to facilitate compliance activities related to data governance issues
    • Demonstrated knowledge and use of Smart Data, Data Tagging, EDH and/or critical data compliance fields and their enforcement 
    • Collaborate with Government personnel at all level to provide assistance, coaching and action reminders on a regular basis 

    Qualifications

    Active TS/SCI with Poly and Intel Community experience necessary 

    • 5-15 years Experienced Systems Engineer or Operations Research/Systems Analyst
    • Bachelors Degree in a Related Discipline
    • Strong coordination and analytical skills
    • Demonstrated knowledge of Smart Data, Data Tagging, EDH and/or Critical data compliance fields and their enforcement.
    • Demonstrated ability and comfort with collaborating with government personnel at all grades to provide assistance, coaching, and action reminders on a regular basis by drafting instructional documentation e.g., application usage guides, SOPs, etc. as well as in person training and coordination.
    • Ability to work independently on event-driven tasks
    • Ability to brief small and large groups on the overall process, status of specific requirements, and other related topics as directed
