    WOOD is hiring an entry level Software Engineer to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD.  The entry level Software Engineer will analyze Java programs and learn how to develop test cases/procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyzes user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
    • Designs and codes new software or modifies existing software to add new features.
    • Debugs existing software and corrects defects.
    • Integrates existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
    • Develops simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.
    • Provides recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.

     

    Qualifications

    • Must have a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
    • No demonstrated experience is required, if you have a technical bachelor's degree.
    • Internships and projects can be used in lieu of a technical bachelor's degree.
    • Will learn how to analyze Java programs; document; and write test plans/cases/procedures.
