    WOOD is currently hiring a Systems Engineer to support our team in Ft. Meade, MD.  The Systems Engineer will provide systems engineering support to the IC on high-level end-to-end IT requirements. The Engineer shall coordinate all activities pertaining to the development, documentation and maintenance of managing high-level end-to-end IT requirements.This opportunity requires a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

    • The Systems Engineer L5 will evaluate and manage the current requirements and processes, and propose changes to enable corporate decision making processes.
    • The SE shall be responsible for the documentation, evolution, maintenance and publication of the Capabilities Requirements Satisfaction processes.
    • The SE shall assist in the governance, development, documentation and review of the processes as directed by the Government
    • Experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS, RequisitePro, etc…
    • Experience performing within the Directorate of Operations mission space
    • Experience in producing and interpreting architectural artifacts


    *All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph


    Individual Capabilities Required:

    • Fifteen (15) years' systems engineering experience supporting DoD/IC programs. 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Communications, Computer, or Electrical), Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or similar degree and meets the experience requirements, or equivalent documented combination of training and experience.
    • A Master's degree in a qualifying engineering field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the requirement to thirteen (13) years of experience
    • Experience in the development and implementation of requirements management processes and methods
    • Several years of experience in writing and managing Mission needs and/or functional requirements.
    • Agile and able to context switch between a broad spectrum of tasks with the ability to go deeply into a problem area, quickly gaining the requisite expertise, while being a member of a highly technical team.
    • Linux experience.
    • Strong scripting
