Senior Systems Engineer/ISSO Level 4

 

Responsibilities

  • Solve varied technical problems; and generate and review designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule, as requested by the Government Technical COR.
  • Provide experience in analytical environments/intelligence production organizations that will benefit operations.
  • Develop solutions integrating and extending FOSS, COTS and GOTS products from multiple vendors for cross domain solutions, cognitive bias, socio-metric software studies of interaction and map visualizations.
  • Develop services that ingest, harvest, distribute, store and display data for analysis objectives.
  • Provide experience with Defense in Depth principles and technology including access/control, authorization, identification and authentication, public key infrastructure, network, and enterprise security architecture, to ensure system compliance and improvements.
  • Provide knowledge of Federal and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy, to ensure system compliance.
  • Participate in the development of systems that process information with different classifications and categories that simultaneously permits access by users with different security clearances and denies access to users who lack authorization.
  • Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSPs) for NSOC systems, and conducting systems requirements reviews.
  • Develop and maintain system metrics using Big Data analysis using SPLUNK or other analytics tools.

Qualifications

*All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

  • Shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Engineer performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
  • Experience in developing system performance, availability, scalability, manageability, and security requirements for mid-to-large-scale programs.
  • Experience developing, delivering, testing and supporting integrated HW & SW systems with functional requirements.
  • Experience implementing solutions with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)-controlled access.
  • Experience developing solutions certified and accredited at a DCID 6/3 PL3, the Information System Certification and Accreditation Process, and the appropriate Integrity Level of Concern and Availability Level of Concern.
