Overview

Engineer (Junior)

Ad-hoc Hazardous duty travel is required in the conduct of this task order. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide activities, research, and support to engineering efforts and maintenance of the system front end access systems, SSE, OSCE, and related normalizing enablers for FOPs.
  • Review JIRA Tickets to ensure corrective measures are being followed to effect resolution of the outage/discrepancy.
  • Review Operational Documentation and Procedures for the customer systems.
  • Review technical training for your System in coordination with customer Documentation and Training personnel.
  • Document any and all technical changes to the System and incorporate those changes within the Operational floor when and where required in coordination with customer Documentation and Training personnel.
  • Troubleshoots the System as required.
  • Perform full lifecycle support to the customer on complex data systems and networks.
  • Provide solutions to the customer applying expertise with systems engineering and networks/components to support.
  • Provide technical guidance to the customer in relation to SIGINT systems.

Qualifications

*All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience. 
  • Within the last year, a minimum of one (1) year experience in at least one (1) of the specializations listed below:
    • Signal Analysis 
    • Modern Telecommunications System and Networks 
    • Telephony Switching System 
    • Communications Systems
    • Cellular/Personal Communications Systems 
    • TDM/PCM Multiplexing / Modulation /Switching Systems 
    • Packet Switching System 
    • Systems Engineering 
    • Operating Systems 
    • Advanced Protocols
  • Should possess a BS in CS, CE or EE degree or be actively pursuing a technical degree. 
  • LINUX or UNIX administration/maintenance experience.
  • Some knowledge of SIGINT systems useful.
  • Some knowledge of SIGINT dataflows useful.
  • Ability to perform in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of SIGINT systems and SIGINT dataflows.
  • Self- motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual schedule.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours when needed.
