WOOD is seeking an Editor/Writer (junior-level) to support its Technical Publication and Editing Services contract with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Assigned resources will format and edit documents for FAA coordination and publication. Selected candidate will check acronyms, references, and grammar within documents according to the GPO Style Guide and coordinate documents through the publication life-cycle. Throughout the publication life-cycle you will incorporate edits received from your Team Lead, Program Manager, and FAA. Selected candidate will be required to update statuses within the SharePoint site. Remote work is not offered for this position.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Journalism, History, or Political Science and three (3) years of editing/writing experience. Editing/writing experience must be 90 percent of the daily responsibilities.
A Master’s degree in Education, English, Journalism, History, or Political Science can be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
