Provides Microsoft (MS) Project Accounts Management Help Desk services on features and functions of MS Project Server.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Microsoft Project Server (MSPS) Team.
  • Provides MS Project Accounts Management Help Desk services on features and functions of MS Project Server and how to best use MS Project Server to assist user project schedules.
  • Assists in the scheduling awareness activities.
  • Provides MS User Accounts Administration and issue resolution.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day system administration, maintenance and user support of MSPS.
  • Maintains user accounts and management of MSPS license pool.

Qualifications

*All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph

  • Six (6) years' systems engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • A Master's degree in a qualifying engineering field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the requirement to four (4) years of experience
  • Must have Microsoft (MS) Project Professional 2010/2013 experience.
  • MS Project Server Administrator experience is preferred:
    • Providing support to account users by creating, modifying and deleting user accounts
    • Establishing Client Nodes and their security/permission structure on the Server
  • Ability to troubleshoot project scheduling issues to assist enterprise customers.
  • Must be a quick learner and have the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to provide MS Project Server content management to include:
    • Project schedule content
    • Developing template files and Client Node structure for user data
    • Assisting with importing, management organization of Project files
  • Ability to document new procedures for the End-Users and Team training material.
  • Ability to train End-Users on proper use of MS Project Server (Thick Client) and Project Web App ((PWA) Thin Client)).
  • Ability to communicate status and progress reports for ongoing issues.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server and SharePoint Server is desired to assist with the metrics and data queries.
  • Technical writing skills for Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Experience with Support IT ticketing system.
  • Understanding of Windows Servers.
