Salary Range: $130,000 to $165,000 base salary, plus commission

 

The Capture & Growth Operations Lead is responsible for driving new business growth within the federal market.


This role owns the development, qualification, and progression of the opportunity pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities aligned with the company’s mission areas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new federal business opportunities aligned with company capabilities

  • Build and maintain a strong, actionable pipeline of opportunities

  • Track opportunities from identification through submission and award

  • Develop relationships with government customers, primes, and teaming partners

  • Lead early-stage capture activities including positioning, teaming, and win strategy

  • Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for proposal execution

  • Support or lead proposal efforts when required

  • Manage and guide team in opportunity identification and tracking

  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular updates to leadership

  • Ensure focus remains on opportunities with a clear path to revenue

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Government / Public Policy, Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in federal business development, capture, or related roles
  • At least 3 to 5 years directly supporting or leading opportunity or pipeline development
  • Experience in federal business development within government contracting
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage a pipeline of opportunities
  • Understanding of federal procurement processes and contract vehicles
  • Experience working with or supporting proposal development
  • Ability to engage with customers and teaming partners effectively
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • Ability to operate independently and drive results
  • Experience within national security environments preferred
