Overview: WOOD Federal Solutions is seeking a Senior Configuration Manager for a planned future staffing need.
The Configuration Manager will ensure the integrity, traceability, and control of technical baselines, system models, documentation, and related engineering artifacts throughout the system lifecycle. The position will work closely with systems engineers, architects, and program leadership to manage configuration control activities associated with engineering products developed using MBSE methodologies and Cameo modeling tools.
This role requires a senior-level professional with extensive experience in systems engineering environments and a deep understanding of configuration management principles, engineering documentation control, and lifecycle baseline management.

Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Establish, implement, and maintain the program’s Configuration Management Plan (CMP) and supporting CM procedures in accordance with contract and organizational requirements.
Manage and maintain configuration baselines for system architecture, models, documentation, and related engineering artifacts.
Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environments by maintaining configuration control of models and associated artifacts developed using Cameo or related modeling tools.
Coordinate and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities including agenda preparation, change request evaluation, documentation of decisions, and tracking of approved changes.
Review and process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and configuration change documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with established CM processes.
Maintain configuration status accounting for all configuration items (CIs), baselines, and approved changes across the program.
Ensure traceability between system requirements, architecture models, documentation, and engineering artifacts.
Maintain document control procedures for engineering documentation, technical data packages, and program deliverables.
Conduct configuration audits, including functional and physical configuration audits where applicable.
Ensure CM processes support program lifecycle activities including system development, architecture evolution, integration, and sustainment.
Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, and program management teams to ensure proper implementation of configuration management practices across the program.
Support preparation for internal and external program reviews and audits related to configuration management.
