WOOD Federal Solutions, Inc., a trusted prime contractor since 1997, is seeking a highly skilled ISSE3/SE3 to lead security engineering efforts across complex, multi-enclave environments.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

As a senior member of our engineering team, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and validating secure systems that meet the highest standards of information assurance (IA). You’ll work closely with architects, developers, and government stakeholders to ensure mission-critical systems are secure, compliant, and resilient.

• Lead technical security assessments and identify vulnerabilities
• Design and integrate IA architectures and security components
• Enforce trusted relationships across external systems and enclaves
• Support RMF, NISCAP, and NIST authorization activities
• Guide secure system development through the full engineering lifecycle
• Provide expert-level mentorship to junior security engineers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure built-in security

Education & Experience:

• 20+ years of ISSE experience on programs of similar scope and complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field
  • Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience
  • 4 additional years of ISSE experience may substitute for the degree
• DoD 8570 IASAE Level III compliance (ISSEP and CISSP certifications)
• Deep expertise in:
  • Secure system design and integration
  • Risk management and threat mitigation
  • Cross-domain solutions and cryptography
  • Security testing, auditing, and incident handling

• Strong skills in networking, cloud, crypto, mobile and commercial cybersecurity standards
