Salary Range: $180,000 - $210,000 per year

 

Overview: We’re looking for a Cyber Defense Developer with at least 7 years of experience to join a dynamic team developing cutting-edge solutions that support critical federal systems. You’ll work with modern tools, collaborate with top-tier engineers, and help shape the future of secure technology.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

 
  • Analyze user needs to design software that meets performance and functionality goals

  • Debug and enhance existing software to improve reliability and efficiency

  • Recommend improvements to documentation and development standards

  • Design and code new features or modify existing software for evolving requirements

  • Integrate legacy systems into modern environments

  • Develop and optimize data queries for current and future datasets

  • Write and review technical documentation to support development and deployment

  • Lead development efforts as needed, based on project scope and methodology

  • Design and implement complex database interfaces and queries

  • Develop algorithms that meet or exceed system performance benchmarks

  • Assist in creating and executing test procedures for software components

  • Collaborate with users and system engineers to analyze workflows and solve problems

  • Modify software to adapt to new hardware or improve performance

  • Use scientific analysis and modeling to predict and measure design outcomes

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
    • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Seven (7) years experience as a SWE is required.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in C/C++.
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Must support the Intelligence Community.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years developing applications using languages like C, C++, C#, Java, or Python

  • 2+ years developing for Windows or UNIX environments

  • Experience with DevOps tools (Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer)

  • 1+ year working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and building automated pipelines
