Salary Range: $120,000 to $170,000

** Salary ranges are based on minimum education and years of experience and may increase based on education and/or experience.

 

Overview: We are seeking experienced Test Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will analyze system requirements and concept of operations documents, develop evaluation and test plans, conduct data collection and analysis, and report status and results. You will support the development of government test and evaluation documentation, including Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Level 1 tasks based on technical training and experience.
  • Conduct research and apply knowledge of T&E concepts.
  • Plan and execute performance analysis and data collection.
  • Review acquisition approaches to align T&E schedules with decision-maker needs.
  • Analyze performance risks and focus T&E planning.
  • Validate and adapt modeling and simulation for T&E use.
  • Apply statistical analysis to estimate performance confidence.
  • Develop and use analysis tools for evaluation.
  • Manage data and configurations.
  • Support data authentication and comply with reporting processes.
  • Produce evaluation plans, reports, and assessments.
  • Optimize data sampling and control testing uncertainties.
  • Coordinate instrumentation, tools, and facilities.
  • Ensure test readiness, including training and compliance.
  • Participate in T&E teams for data collection and evaluation planning.
  • Frame and prioritize T&E objectives based on performance requirements.
  • Coordinate with systems engineering for evaluation planning.
  • Assess operational environments and select scenarios.
  • Plan risk-tailored performance estimation and analysis.
  • Design surveys for SME input and user assessments.
  • Provide technical direction for Level 0 and Level 1 tasks.
  • Coordinate task implementation with government sponsors.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant standards.
  • Lead T&E tasks and liaise with the government for contract coordination.
  • Communicate issues and solutions to government and contract management.
  • Ensure team independence to support objective risk management.
  • Manage T&E resources and ensure quality assurance.
  • Coordinate and integrate T&E tasks and products.
  • Participate in T&E teams to ensure proper coordination.
  • Drive innovation and responsiveness to manage program risk.

Qualifications

Mid-Level Test Engineer:

  • Five (5) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Senior Test Engineer:

  • Eight (8) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
