  • Overview

    Provide system expertise in use, administration, and back-end modification of JIRA and Confluence to facilitate tracking and monitoring of Mission Needs and associated solutions plans being developed as part of the customer’s solution process. Contractor shall serve as the principal liaison between the Requirements Management Program and other customer offices using JIRA/Confluence and the service provider.

    Qualifications

    *All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph

     

    Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.

     

    Required Capabilities:

    • Familiar with agile development and test methodologies
    • Recent demonstrated experience in the administration and back end engineering of JIRA/Confluence
    • Familiar with automating reporting and tracking diverse projects within JIRA/Confluence
    • Recent experience in integrating the requirements of multiple organizations using the JIRA/Confluence Tool
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and diplomacy.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Individual Capabilities Desired:

    • Familiarity with the customer’s use of JIRA/Confluence
    • Experience in administering and supporting a SharePoint environment
    • Experience in administering and supporting the use of PlanIT
    • Existing relationships with other customer users of the JIRA/Confluence tool
    • Firm knowledge of the System Engineering discipline with emphasis on requirements definition, refinement, collection and documentation
    • Comfortable in dealing with customer senior leadership including briefings
    • Use of Visio, PowerPoint, or other presentation software to develop clear graphical representations
    • Excellent analytic, definition of issues and problem solving skills
    • Strong writing and communication skills
