    WOOD Consulting Services, Inc. is looking for a Jr. Systems/Network Administrator to join our team in Laurel, MD. The Jr. Systems/ Network Administrator will provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
    • Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
    • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
    • Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.

    Qualifications

    *All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph

    • No demonstrated experience is required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
      • Five (5) years of SA experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
    • Contractor shall currently possess and maintain one of the following certifications:
      • Microsoft Technology Associate – IT Infrastructure (MTA-IT)
      • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate – Desktop (MCSA-DT) Windows 7
      • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate – Desktop (MCSA-DT) Windows 8
      • Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Windows Client (MCITP-Client) Desktop Support Tech on Windows 7
      • Microsoft Certified IT Professional – Windows Client (MCITP-Client) Desktop Admin on Windows 7
      • CompTIA – A+
      • CompTIA – Network+
      • CompTIA – Storage+
      • CompTIA – Security+
