    WOOD is currently hiring a Principal CNO Planning Support Specialist (SME)  to join our team in Ft. Meade, MD. The Principal CNO Planning Support Specialist (SME)  will support various types of planning efforts in support of Computer Network Operations (CNO). Development of CNO requirements and/or providing actionable recommendations and technical support.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Performing multi-source research of all U.S. exercises involving CNO to support operations personnel and overall CNO synchronization
    • Assessing value of material complied from research
    • Documenting objectives and benefits of each activity or plan based on available material
    • Documenting common CNO threads based on CNO activity
    • Providing the means to assess the effects of mission partner execution of CNO
    • Developing and documenting processes and procedures for assessing impact, Measures of Effectiveness, and follow-on courses of action development
    • Assisting in determination of what established processes and procedures will need to become more automated
    • Recommending metrics to support decision-making efforts by Customer Operations leadership
    • Attending mission-related forums and address emerging operational requirements
    • Maintaining awareness of internal and external customer information needs
    • Collaboration with other Intelligence Community members to produce plans, reports, and lessons learned for National-level audiences
    • Coordinating efforts with government operations personnel

    Qualifications

    *All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph

    • Shall have a minimum of ten (10) continuous years of work experience in computer network operations or a related field, or a combination of a minimum of six (6) years in related discipline
    • Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD degree in an applicable (math, science, computers, engineering, intelligence, language) field
    • Work experience shall include six (6) years of IC experience in computer network operations or a related field
    • Shall have demonstrated expertise regarding CNO throughout the U.S. and how the Customer and other CNO partners create a common view of data to enable operators and analysts to gather, analyze, display, evaluate, and disseminate all-source CNO information to support the Customer and its various mission partners (including Second Party) exchange situational awareness
    • Shall have demonstrated expertise with relevant CNO tools and databases used for the customer mission
    • Shall be considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in conducting planning activities and preparing associated documentation
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in exercise support, CNO strategic planning, performance management, or process development and be able to serve as SME for working groups and meetings with partner organizations/agencies
    • Shall have demonstrated experience in leading small, focused teams and mentoring junior task personnel
    • Shall have demonstrated expertise in analyzing intelligence and/or other related information and technical data, describing CNO opportunities, documenting information and processes, gathering intelligence information, interpreting complex information, performing Internet research, writing and editing skills at a technical/professional level, and managing internal and external customer relations
    • Shall be an effective writer and verbal communicator and have demonstrated communication skills that include the ability to provide formal documentation of analysis and/or research results; prepare and present formal technical briefings and oral discussions

    Required Experience:

    • Cyber analyst background
    • Experience with targeting and UTT
    • Ability to self-start/work independently
    • Knowledge of Xkeyscore and GENESIS fingerprints
    • Knowledge of/willingness to support and advocate for automation (e.g. auto knowledge capture, dissemination, countermeasures, etc.)
    • Knowledge of some or all of TKB/RKS/Pulse/Testflight

    Desired Experence:

    • Experience developing analytics JEMA/Jupiter/etc
    • JOGGINGHEARS  fingerprint experience
    • Date science experience
    • Marketing skills
    • Presentation development experience
    • Metrics experience
