    WOOD is currently hiring a Storage Integration  Engineer to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The Storage Integration Engineer will provide support High Performance Computing systems engineering including a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specialized storage needs.

    Responsibilities

    • Technical and engineering support to HPC SMEs to document the As-Is architecture baseline with initial focus areas that include mission needs drivers (top-down guidance), mapping to mission threads, etc.
    • Oversee of all tasks to ensure that deliverables are being met and completed. If adjustments are required, ensure communication of required changes to the Government Program Lead or Contracting Officer Representative (COR)
    • Ensure the Government remains informed on status and progress of all projects through periodic, formal reviews and through informal meetings
    • Assist in the development of system engineering activities
    • Assist the Government in preparing and conducting briefings
    • Provide the Government with various technical deliverables in accordance with the CDRLs by specified date

    Qualifications

    *All Candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph

    • Twenty (20) years' systems engineering experience supporting IC programs. 
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering), or similar degree and meets the experience requirements, or equivalent documented combination of training and experience
      • A Master's degree or PhD in a qualifying engineering field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience, thereby reducing the requirement to eighteen (18) years of experience
    • Successful candidates will be detail oriented and exhibit strong organization skills; must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including demonstrated ability to comfortably interact with all levels of organization management while operating in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision

     Required Capabilities:

    • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a technical role with at least five (5) years as a Systems Engineer in programs that encompass system architecture, requirements analysis, process execution, and evaluation
    • Demonstrated experience with managing multiple stakeholders to reach mutual agreements on goals, objectives, program/domain capabilities, interfaces, and milestones

    Highly desired:

    • Knowledge and familiarity of underlying technologies and architectures for HPC system capabilities
